Review 19: Whatever Happened to Hell? (John Blanchard)

I agree with all the major emphases, and only differ on a few minor points of exegesis. This book has an urgency, a sincerity, even a heart of love, that is good to see in a book on Hell. Hell is not presented here dry-ly, but as a terrible destiny, to be eschewed at all costs. I especially like the references to poetry and to Lewis. And, there is a certain strain of reformed theology that I appreciate. Highly recommendable for people who are new to the doctrine of eternal Hell.
