Review 1: Encyclopedia of Stupidity

This book could have been great. The idea behind the book is almost good enough to carry the whole book. Alas, the contents don't live up to the title or the idea. This book is a somewhat random compilation of quotes and stories about stupidity. However, the book can never find a centre, or point fixe, to keep it all together. The reason things fall apart? Probably the postmodern worldview that informs the narrative progress. Amidst quotes and anecdotes the author inserts postmodern judgments. Also sad -- the illustrations are low quality black and white, and don't stand out.
