Review 7: Spurgeon v. Hyper-Calvinism (Iain H. Murray)

I recommend this book for anyone interested in refuting hyper-calvinism. I believe Spurgeon's response was the right one, and his emphasis was on TRUE Calvinism was sound. Funny, we often think of Spurgeon as the warrior for calvinism, against arminianism. It is good to see this side of his battle as well. Also of note, how hyper's erred in their extreme-ness, and their inability to look at something as a whole. They tried to be truer than truth. This has been a mark of false-teaching since NT, and into heretical controversies of first few centuries. Thus, we should take care to preach 'whole counsel' and avoid running to extremes, losing balance, and perspective.
