Review 8: Finding God at Harvard (Kelly Monroe)

I suppose we should be thankful that folks at Harvard are still open to any Christianity. I'm not so sure.

The main perspective in this book is a somewhat watered down Christianity suited to fit intellectuals -- a Christianity tailored by the intelligentsia for the intelligentsia.

All the same, some bright spots --

The "I witness" testimony of Loury is moving as a modern day, "You can't dispute this... I was blind, but now I see." Also, the essay by Keyes is insightful and full of nourishing material. The Solzenhitsen (sp?) lecture is a classic, but I'd recommend reading the full talk.
