I heard Knowles lecture at Clemson as a High School senior. Afterward, the audience asked questions. The questions were so stale. How many times has Knowles been asked about "Fall" imagery? and the answers were not much better. The whole thing was dry. I wanted to admire Knowles great book, but quickly fell asleep in a cult of boredom.
